Are you aged 17 – 25? Not in education or full time employment? Want to learn new skills, increase your confidence & improve your prospects? Are you tired of the same old boring training schemes? If you can answer yes to all of these questions then the S.T.E.M. programme is for YOU. The S.T.E.M programme is an opportunity for YOU to gain real hands on experience in event management whilst learning the theory behind it. Combining both theoretical and practical training the 6 month programme will provide you with all you need to know to become an event manager. You will also receive career and personal development support helping you to make yourself more employable or if you want to set up your own enterprise you will find out what you need to do to make it happen. There will be a variety of guest speakers on the programme as well as opportunities to work on live events and get real life experience. It is only one day a week and your travel is reimbursed up to £3.30.
